Om Prakash Pandey
Meet Om Prakash Pandey, your host and Managing Director of Hotel Landmark Pokhara, a kind and cooperative person having been in the field of tourism and hospitality for 18 years.
He owns a few other businesses in Pokhara and Kathmandu all of which are efficiently managed. In 2002 he started a budget hotel in Pokhara which is now popular among budget travellers and backpackers. Following his own success, he acquired a property in Lakeside in 2007, renovated it and established this 3 star hotel on his own with a commitment to providing quality hospitality in the tourist centre of the city.
Om is the First Vice President of NATTA (Nepal Association of Tour & Travel Agents) and an Executive Member of Pokhara Tourism Council. Before that, he was also a member of HAN (Hotel Association of Nepal).
Cultural: Donations for religious purposes
Social: A reputed host with a sense of social responsibility
Hotel Landmark Pokhara continues to donate for social and cultural causes. Only recently, it funded the entire construction of a temple in a nearby village of Pokhara. The maintenance and operation of the temple is observed by the hotel, at the same time organising periodic events at the temple during festivals.
On the cultural front, guests can participate in traditional shows that highlight the life of different ethnicities. These cultural shows are organised every night.

Meet Rajendra Prasad Sapkota and Outdoor Himalayan Treks, we are your local connection in Pokhara. Starting as a young porter, Rajendra has all the local knowledge that will make your trip to Pokhara life changing. With us, visitors experience remote villages, meet local people, and gain insight into our culture. We support local villages, and have even built a local orphanage to house and educate displaced, and often outcast, children. We hope to bring you a journey that will be enriching, but will also help those in need in Pokhara.
