Hotel Sakura

Ever since its establishment 2006, Hotel Sakura has being paying utmost attention to the most essential norms of hospitality like cleanliness, promptness and reliability. Owing to its effective management, the hotel has proven that such qualities do not necessarily require a very high cost. Since the proprietors themselves manage most of the operations, the operational costs are significantly minimised, allowing them to set very competitive rates for the services they offer.

Although not perfectly fluent, the hosts are able to communicate with English, French, Japanese, Indian and Korean guests in their respective languages. They also care enough to understand the individual needs of traveller and treat them with a personal touch so that they can feel like being with their own family.

The location of the hotel is quite convenient as it is situated by Barahi Marg, less than a hundred metres towards the north of Barahi Chowk of Lakeside area. Views of the magnificent Fewa Lake on the south side and of the Himalayan range on the north side will definitely add to your experience. When you are in need, the hotel also provides extra services like tour planning, ticketing arrangements, free luggage storage, etc.

The hotel has a self-managed kitchen and a small restaurant, open from 6:00 am until 11:00 pm. If you prefer, the food that you order will be served in your room.

Late check out policy:

• As long as there is enough availability of rooms for incoming guests, you do not need to pay an extra for delaying your check out by up to 3 hours. However, you need to inform the hosts beforehand
• If you need more than 3 hours of extra time for checking out, 50% of the nightly rate will be surcharged

Policy on children staying with parents:

• Children below 6 years of age and staying with parents do not need to pay for accommodation unless extra beds are required
• Breakfast for children will be provided as per the normal rate

Cancellation Policy:

• A cancellation of confirmed booking will be processed without any cancellation charge if requested at least 72 hours prior to the check-in date
• Cancellation charge equivalent to 25% of the nightly tariff is required for all cancellations requested between 72 and 48 hours from the expected arrival date
• 50% of the nightly tariff will be charged against any cancellation requested during the last 48 hours to check-in
• Failure to request a cancellation at least 24 hours prior to the expected arrival date implies a No-show penalty, equivalent to the tariff for 1 night
