Parva and Laxman
Hotel Sakura is under the proprietorship of Parva Subedi while her husband, Laxman Subedi is the Managing Director. Together, they do not only form a perfect management team, but excellent hosts as well.Parva speaks Japanese and Korean languages fairly well and is always keen on helping her resident guests. Besides, she also supervises the kitchen, restaurant and the general supplies.
Laxman, on the other hand, takes care of finance, travel related services, purchases and when needed, marketing too. He started his career in tourism nearly two decades ago as a trekking guide and about 5 years after that, switched to hospitality. His past experience makes him the right person for his current position.
The Subedi couple happily married with two kids lives on the ground floor of their own hotel. They are kind and cooperative towards their staff and guest alike.
Meet Rajendra Prasad Sapkota and Outdoor Himalayan Treks, we are your local connection in Pokhara. Starting as a young porter, Rajendra has all the local knowledge that will make your trip to Pokhara life changing. With us, visitors experience remote villages, meet local people, and gain insight into our culture. We support local villages, and have even built a local orphanage to house and educate displaced, and often outcast, children. We hope to bring you a journey that will be enriching, but will also help those in need in Pokhara.
