Hotel View Point is owned and managed by Gyan Bahadur Karki and his family. Gyan has been in the hospitality business for over 18 years. After starting his career in 1981, he worked for almost 10 years in several hotels and lodges as a manager.
In 1991 he founded his own hotel and brought it into operation from the ground level. But he kept doing his best to upgrade it according to the changing times and demands of the market. Over the years the Karki family has been able to transform this property to what is now one of the most preferable budget range accommodations in Pokhara.
Gyan is a very sociable person with a good sense of responsibility towards his guests. He spends most of his time in the hotel to make sure that the guests have no complaints and that they are being treated with respect and care.

Starting as a young porter, Rajendra has all the local knowledge that will make your trip to Pokhara life changing. With us, visitors experience remote villages, meet local people, and gain insight into our culture. We support local villages, and have even built a local orphanage to house and educate displaced, and often outcast, children. We hope to bring you a journey that will be enriching, but will also help those in need in Pokhara.
