The resort is owned by Naresh Bhattarai, a young achiever in the local tourism industry. Although Mount Kailash Resort came into existence in September 2009, he had previously established three other businesses including the popular Boomerang Restaurant in Lakeside, Pokhara.

Whenever he is around, Naresh takes great pleasure in meeting his guests and listening to their feedback. He is open to any suggestions from his customers and clients. He is the present vice president of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) - Pokhara chapter.
