Seti Waterway Adventure

The rivers of Nepal are popular for rafting, one of the best adventure sports. There are many destinations within the country for rafting but the Seti River is chosen by many because it is considered to be fairly safe and greatly enjoyable.

It is suitable for beginners and intermediate level rafters and kayakers throughout the year except during the monsoon season since the water volume and current rise significantly, challenging even experienced raftsmen.

The scenery and vast stretch of vegetation on both sides of Seti are beautiful enough to attract many species of migrating birds as well as people who crave to watch those birds.

The first day's activity starts at Damauli (north-east of Pokhara), from where you will raft until you reach the camping site, a spacious riverbank, just below the village of Saranghat. The residents of Saranghat come mainly from the Magar ethnicity.

After spending the night at the camp, you will raft all the way up to Gaighat. If you wish to have an extra bit of jungle adventure before returning to Pokhara (or your next destination), you can visit the nearby Chitwan National Park, selecting a package (also bookable through this website).

- Good health and physical fitness are required on all trips. Physical examination of all participants is recommended.
- Participants must be protected by an insurance covering cancellation, accidents, health, emergency evacuation and loss, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects.
