Bishnu Bastola

Your host at Unique Mountain Guesthouse is the proprietor, Bishnu Bastola, a simple looking man living in Pokhara with his small and happy family with two kids. His passion for tourism field was the cumulative result of his decade long experience of running his own car rental service. He never hesitated to drive and in fact, most of his regular clients would rather have him for a substitue driver.

Bishnu dreams that one day his children will be well educated and highly qualified to jump into the careers of their choice. However, to ensure that even in the worst case scenario they are left with the option of continuing a family business started by him, he leased a small residential building and converted it into a guesthouse.

Even today, Bishnu makes himself available as a driver to pickup his guests from Pokhara Airport or Tourist Bus Park. Of course, he does not mind driving long distances, for instance, to Kathmandu or Chitwan or other destinations, if he is required or requested to. He has some very reliable links within the industry. So if you are in need of any travel related information or assistance, you can count on him.
